A CELEBRATION OF BAY AREA-MADE LGBTQ+ FILMS
REEL QUEER FLIX is a one-night screening, honoring Bay Area LGBTQ+ filmmakers and their films from past and present.
Once again, our cinematic celebration will be at the historic Grand Lake Theatre in Oakland's LGBTQ+ Lakeshore Cultural District, also kicking off Oakland Pride week. The screening concludes with a filmmnaker Q&A and an after-party near the theatre (location TBA).
REEL QUEER FLIX is produced by Cinemama, a collective of Bay Area Filmmakers, formerly known as "Oakland Film Center," serving as a creative hub for the Bay Area film community.
ACCESSIBILITY: The screening is presented in an ADA-venue, ASL interpretation provided at the event, and burned-in captions accompany each film.
